Pia is a fully qualified and experienced teacher with nearly a decade of experience. She has a Bachelor of Arts – majoring in Fine Art, an International Diploma in the Montessori Method Singapore and a Graduate Certificate of Education Studies. In addition to her education qualifications, Pia is an experienced counsellor, she has her Specialist Diploma in Counselling Youth and Children (ACC Institute of Human Services, Singapore) and went on to gain her full Masters of Counselling in 2019 from Monash University. She’s also a fully accredited Art Therapist.

Pia has been teaching with us here at Nexus since 2017, and has previously covered teachers during a time of extended absence. Given her expertise – it probably won’t surprise you to know she brings a passion for a holistic approach to education to the classroom, bringing support to all areas of a child’s education. She also prides herself on having a bit of fun with the learners!
