Rachel is a collaborative leader, having spent over 34 years in Education as an early years, primary and secondary teacher, literacy lead teacher, vice-principal and principal. She has led both PYP and MYP schools through authorisation and successful IB evaluations.

Rachel believes that a critical component of a thriving school community is in building relationships and partnerships with learners, families, and stakeholders. She believes in innovative practices and creating opportunities for learners to be mindful and compassionate, while pursuing academic and athletic excellence and social emotional well-being.

In her excitement to join the Nexus team, Rachel and her husband, Steve, bid their three adult children and their Canadian home, farewell. They look forward to forging new friendships, engaging in new experiences, and trying every tasty dish that Singapore has to offer.
