Sam Gan
Sam is a proud ‘third culture kid’ having been born in Hong Kong, completing high school in Malaysia and pursuing his tertiary education in Australia. He’s grateful for all the experiences and connections he has made as he spent time in different parts of the world. In many ways, it has catalysed his love for collaboratively building communities that foster a sense of belonging for all those involved. This has been at the heart of his journey as an educator, having completed a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and a PGCEi with the University of Warwick. He is keen to play his part in cultivating a culture of belonging, support and care in and outside his classroom to ultimately empower learners to thrive just as they are and into who they will become.
