Originally from Nantes in Western France, Solveig brings a rich, global perspective to our languages department. After graduating with a Master’s degree in International Relations from Sciences Po Paris, she spent eight years managing diverse government and corporate projects across Europe, Africa, and Asia. However, her true calling came after the pandemic, when she decided to pivot and channel her lifelong love for education into a full-time teaching career — and she hasn’t looked back since!

As an avid language learner who speaks three languages fluently and three conversationally, Solveig is deeply passionate about the power of language education to foster global citizenship and make the world a better place. In the classroom, she is known for her energetic, caring, and dynamic approach. She firmly believes that strong, positive relationships with learners are the foundation of great learning, and she consistently strives to make her lessons both fun and highly engaging.

Outside of school, Solveig loves to stay active by practising yoga, exploring nature, and enjoying quality time with her husband and two children.
