An experienced language educator, Wendy Yang brings over 18 years of teaching experience across Singapore and China, including more than a decade in IB international education. She holds a Master’s degree in English Language Teaching from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and specialises in supporting multilingual learners through English Language Acquisition while also teaching Chinese in international school settings.

Wendy believes that language is the foundation for learning, communication, and confidence. She has extensive experience helping learners develop the language skills needed to access the curriculum, express their ideas effectively, and participate actively in school life. Having taught both English and Chinese, she understands the process of acquiring additional languages from multiple perspectives and is committed to helping every learner make meaningful and sustained progress.

Recognising that every student learns differently, Wendy adapts her teaching to each learner’s strengths, needs, and stage of language development. She believes that high expectations, purposeful support, and strong teacher-learner relationships enable students to become confident communicators and successful lifelong learners.
