Nexus International School (Singapore) is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School and follows the IB framework from Early Years, offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme and International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). Nexus also offers Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel International General Certificates of Secondary Education (IGCSE) for its Year 10 and 11 learners.
We are incredibly proud of the IBDP Class of 2026 who scored an average of 35.8 points, exceeding the global average of 30.88. Two learners achieved 45/45 and two further learners achieved 44/45.
Our 2026 IGCSE results were outstanding: 52% of all Edexcel IGCSE grades were 9-7, the equivalent of A*-A. 48% of all Cambridge IGCSE grades were an A or A*. Overall, an impressive 50% of all grades awarded to Nexus learners were A*-A or 9-7. In English Literature, Further Pure Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Chinese as a Foreign Language and Geography, the most common grade awarded was an A* or 9/8.
The academic year at Nexus International School (Singapore) runs from August - June. There are two semesters, with mid-year breaks in October, December and March/April. See our academic calendar.
All lessons are taught in English at Nexus. Learners can also choose to study Mandarin or French in the Primary school, with the option of Spanish also available in Secondary school. We also have a Foundation English programme available.

Nexus provides tailored support for learners based on individual needs. If your child is enrolled in an EAL or Learning Support programme, you will receive an agreement outlining the specific support measures and learning goals for your child.
Classes run from 8:20-3:25 Monday-Thursday and 8:20-2:25 on Fridays. There are also over 110 co-curricular activities (CCAs) including sports, performing arts and music, available which run after school every day.
All primary learners have a swimming lesson every week throughout the year as part of their curriculum. In Secondary School, MYP learners are on a rotation and will have swimming lessons as part of their PHE programme. We also have paid swimming lessons available after-school through our Learn to Swim and Development Swim Programmes, as well as an elite swim squad which has won ACSIS High School Swim Champions for the last four consecutive years.
Yes, we have an extensive Music Instrumental Programme so that learners can take paid individual music lessons alongside their curriculum music lessons. Lessons with experienced instrumental teachers are available on a range of instruments, from piano to vocals and saxophone, and from guitar to violin and drums. Yes, Nexus has an active house system with house events and competitions taking place across the year. The houses are Ayer (blue), Angin (yellow), Tanah (green) and Api (red) - based on the Malaysian words for water, air, earth and fire. Each house has its own team of learners who are house captains, and a staff house captain.
Parents can submit an application through the school website. The process includes providing recent school reports, copies of your passport and visa/pass, and a short interview and/or assessment based on your child’s age and grade level. Fees for the Academic Year 2026/2027 range from $26,600 (Nursery) to $50,800 (Year 13). Full details can be found on our website.
Learners wear a polo shirt based on which year grade they are in (blue with green for Early Years, blue with black for Primary, blue with white for Secondary, and pale blue for IB). They also wear a black skort or skirt. The uniform is made from soft and comfortable materials, all Nexus uniforms are designed to be breathable, easy to maintain, and comfortable for every learner. All the fabrics meet strict EU standards, with OEKO-TEX® certification to ensure they’re eco-friendly and free from harmful substances.
You can easily purchase our uniforms online or at Lim’s store in Holland Village. We also have sample uniforms on school premises so your child may try them on before you place your order online.

Nexus benefits from an extremely active parent community called the Nexus Community Group. They organise activities for parents on a weekly basis, including strength and yoga classes, book clubs, Mahjong, language classes and knowledge sharing and more. They also support school events such as the Nexmas Christmas Fair, annual International Fair and school productions. The Nexus Community Group also holds regular coffee mornings and cultural celebrations.
Yes, our Parent Referral Programme offers a $1,000 school fee credit per child for current parents who refer a new family to Nexus. Referred families may also receive an Application Fee waiver if they apply within 6 months of the referral. More details can be found here.
