Originally from the United States, Ebony began her journey in education while getting her bachelor’s degree in Child Development in California. While studying for her master’s, Ebony’s passion for teaching was ignited through her work with students from diverse backgrounds and varying abilities. She considers herself a facilitator in student learning.

With almost a decade of experience engaging with learners, Ebony has worked with learners of various ages in the United States and China. With her patience and persistence, Ebony is dedicated to facilitating student learning by providing a safe and engaging learning environment that fosters learners autonomy.

As an educator, Ebony finds that teaching abroad is a continuous learning experience, enriching both her personal and professional life. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, travelling, writing poetry, creating videos about her travels, and exploring genealogy.
