Teresa brings a rich and varied background in education, with 20 years of teaching experience both in New Zealand and abroad. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and a Graduate Diploma in Primary Teaching, and has taught in classrooms across the United Kingdom, Singapore, and New Zealand. Teresa has particular strengths in Literacy and inquiry-based learning. She strives to make learning creative, fun, and hands-on, while helping students connect with the world around them. Creating a safe and supportive environment is at the heart of her teaching, encouraging risk-taking and nurturing a strong sense of self. Outside of school, Teresa is a surf lifeguard who enjoys reading, listening to music, and exploring new places with her family.
