Originally from Lille in northern France, Housna is an experienced educator with a strong background in education and language teaching. She holds a State Diploma in Counselling, a Master’s degree in Social Sciences from the University of Lille, and a Master’s degree in Language Didactics with a specialisation in Teaching French as a Foreign and Second Language (FLE/S), awarded with Highest Honours.

Housna has worked in France, Belgium, and Singapore. Since the age of 16, she has worked with children and young people, first as a youth leader, then as an educator and teacher. Over the years, she has gained experience teaching learners of all ages, from primary school children to adults, and from a wide range of cultural, linguistic, and educational backgrounds. Her experience includes working with multilingual learners, students with diverse learning needs, teenagers facing behavioural challenges, native French speakers, and learners of French as a foreign language. This diversity has strengthened her ability to adapt her teaching to the individual needs of every learner.

Housna believes that every learner is unique and is committed to helping each learner achieve their full potential. She sees language not only as a means of communication but also as a gateway to new cultures, broader perspectives, and critical thinking. Her teaching approach combines high expectations with kindness, creating a supportive environment where learners feel confident to participate, make mistakes, and grow.

As a mother of three, Housna understands the importance of building a warm, inclusive, and nurturing classroom where every learner feels valued and encouraged. She strives to inspire curiosity, confidence, and a genuine love for the French language.

Outside the classroom, Housna enjoys reading, travelling, and exploring new cultures, experiences that continually enrich both her personal life and her teaching practice.
