Regina McCulloch
Secondary Classroom Assistant
Bachelor of Arts - National University of Singapore (NUS)

Regina McCulloch graduated from the National University of Singapore. She began her teaching career working with the local syllabus, with a strong focus on English language teaching, before moving into the IB curriculum.

Having taught in the PYP for the past six years, Regina feels that it is time for a new challenge as she moves towards the secondary level, particularly in EAL. She believes strongly in nurturing students not only academically, but also emotionally and socially. To her, education is about helping learners build confidence, develop a positive mindset, and believe that they are capable of growth through effort, resilience and reflection. She values a supportive learning environment where learners are motivated to express their ideas, learn from mistakes and grow as independent learners.

Outside of school, Regina enjoys running. It is a time when she feels calm, reflects on her thoughts and often finds new ideas or inspiration along the way. She hopes to continue growing as an educator and to support learners in becoming confident, open-minded and lifelong learners.
