To celebrate the end of our academic year, Nexus International School (Singapore) hosted an exciting series of learner vs staff football matches. Organised by Mr. Frank, our Physical Education Teacher and Football Coach, the event celebrated the dedication and hard work of the Nexus Football Academy players and coaches.

A Display of Community and Competition
The staff team went head-to-head with Nexus Football teams, which included the 14&U Boys, 16&U Boys, 16&U Girls, and U19 Boys. Each 20-minute match created a fast-paced, enjoyable, and competitive series of games, highlighting the strong sense of community and relationships fostered through sport at Nexus. The U19 Boys’ match was particularly intense, with two crucial penalties deciding the outcome.

Beyond the cheers and roar of the crowd, Mr. Frank upped the game with a Veo camera, capturing every heart-stopping moment! This device not only recorded the entire match, but also harnessed the power of AI to highlight goals, corners, and epic shots. Now, participants and spectators can re-watch the best bits and relive the drama, all thanks to Veo’s amazing technology.
