Nexus Learners Secure Offers from Top Universities Around the World

GRADUATION 025

Our Year 13 learners are busy studying for their upcoming IB exams before they graduate at the end of May. With the end of their school education in sight, we are incredibly proud to share the offers they have already received from prestigious institutions to study a wide range of courses across the globe.

From the historic universities of the UK to innovative campuses in North America and Europe, our learners are seeing their hard work turn into real-world opportunities. So far, our IBDP Class of 2026 have earned offers at universities including the University of Cambridge, Bocconi and Wesleyan University, amongst other renowned universities.

Excellence Across the United Kingdom

The UK remains a popular destination for our learners, with offers spanning the length and breadth of the country, including many from the prestigious Russell Group. Offers from top institutions like the University of Cambridge, King’s College London, UCL (University College London), and the London School of Economics (LSE) make up just some of the UK offers our learners are receiving.

Beyond London, our learners have secured offers from the historic University of St Andrews and Durham University, as well as research powerhouses like University of Edinburgh, University of Manchester, University of Warwick, and University of Bristol and performing arts schools like Italia Conti. Whether it is Microbiology at Imperial College London or Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Cambridge, our learners are ready to join the next generation of UK scholars.

North American Ambitions

Across the Atlantic, the Class of 2026 has made a significant impact. Our learners have earned offers from institutions including the Ivy League giant Cornell University and UC San Diego, UC Santa Barbara and UC Irvine campuses.

The diversity of these offers is truly inspiring, ranging from institutions specialising in:

  • Scientific Research: Top-tier programmes at UC San Diego and UC Irvine.
  • Liberal Arts & Politics: The highly selective environments of Middlebury College, Northeastern University, and George Washington University.
  • The Creative Arts: World-renowned institutions like Berklee School of Music and the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York.

Continental Europe & Beyond

Our international outlook is further reflected with the volume of offers our learners have received for top European universities and institutions. We are celebrating offers from some of the world’s most elite business and design schools, including IE University, Bocconi University, and HEC Paris.

From the creative studios of NABA in Italy to the academic programmes at the University of Amsterdam and Maastricht University, our learners are choosing paths that reflect their unique global perspectives.

Pursuing Their Passions

What truly stands out this year isn’t just the prestige of the universities on the list, but the sheer variety of paths our learners are carving out for themselves. We aren’t just seeing applications; we’re seeing learners who are pursuing their passions.

“After months of research, planning, essay-writing and applications, the hard work of our Year 13 learners is now paying off” says Aine Massey, Head of Careers and University Guidance. “We are extremely proud of the many offers our learners have received and wish them the very best of luck with their studies between now and the exams.”

Looking Toward the Finish Line

As conditional and unconditional offers begin to transform into final destinations, our focus remains on supporting our learners through these final weeks of the IB. Our Principal, Simon Mann, shares: “What I’m most proud about these offers is the breadth in the range of courses and destinations for our learners, with many of them receiving offers at their first-choice university. We’ve been able to support our learners in finding a best-fit university for them no matter where they want to go next, reflecting the truly diverse nature of our school.”

To our Year 13s: keep your focus, look after one another, and remember that the entire Nexus community is cheering you on.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026, we can’t wait to see what you do next!
