The Class of 2026 achieved a spectacular International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) average score of 35.7 points, which sits significantly above the global average of 30.88. This landmark achievement cements Nexus’s reputation for academic excellence within the competitive landscape of IBDP results in Singapore. Read more on our blog here.
Academic consistency was a major highlight of our Singapore 2026 IBDP outcomes. An incredible 98% of our cohort scored 30 points or more. Additionally, two of our learners achieved a perfect score of 45 points, and two others secured an exceptional 44 points - something which is achieved by only a tiny fraction of students globally.
Value-added growth measures how much a student improves compared to their initial external baseline benchmarks (CAT4). In our latest results, Nexus learners achieved an average of 4.3 points higher than their predicted grades. As an inclusive international school in Singapore, this metric is our greatest pride because it proves our tailored, supportive environment helps every child smash past their expected limits. Value-added scores above 0.5, meaning learners achieving half a grade higher than predicted, are often considered good. Scores exceeding 1.0 signify genuinely outstanding performance. In these cases, learners perform an entire grade or more beyond what was initially predicted. This kind of success highlights a school’s exceptional ability to nurture each learner’s potential and empower them to exceed expectations. Yes. Reflecting our diverse, multi-cultural community in central Singapore, a significant portion of our cohort consistently qualifies for and achieves the prestigious IB Bilingual Diploma. In our recent cohorts, learners have achieved Bilingual IB Diplomas with languages including Chinese, Japanese, Russian, Vietnamese, Dutch and Afrikaans.
Our Year 11 learners consistently perform well above global Cambridge and Edexcel benchmarks. In our 2025 IGCSE results, over half of all grades awarded (54%) were top-tier A*–A or 9–7 equivalents. Notably, the most common grade achieved by our cohort in core subjects like English and Mathematics was an A* (or 9/8), setting a powerful academic foundation before they transition into the IB Diploma Programme.
