The final two races of the Youth Aquathlon League proved another opportunity for Team Nexus to shine, and we couldn’t be prouder of every learner who took part. Read on for summaries of the last two races of the league taking place in August and September 2026.
A Fantastic Morning for Team Nexus at Race 3
On Saturday 29 August, a fantastic group of Team Nexus learners headed to XCL World Academy for the third race of the 2026 Youth Aquathlon League.
We were so proud of every learner who took part. They gave their best in both the swim and run, cheered one another on and represented Nexus brilliantly. It was especially lovely to see several learners taking part in an aquathlon for the very first time and crossing the finish line with huge smiles!
There were some fantastic results too, with Diana winning the Female 10–12 category, Emily finishing third in the same category, and Mason taking third place in the Kids 8–9 category.
A huge well done to every learner who raced, and a big thank you to all our Team Nexus families for coming along and supporting them!
Team Nexus Takes on the Final Challenge!
On Saturday 26 September, our small but mighty team of seven Team Nexus learners headed to East Coast Park, Singapore for the fourth and final race of this year’s Youth Aquathlon League.
This was the biggest challenge of the series, as our learners swapped the swimming pool for an open-water sea swim, followed by a run along East Coast Park. We were delighted to have the best-represented school team in the Kids categories, with all seven learners showing fantastic courage and determination in some challenging swim conditions.
We also had some brilliant results. Ben took third place in the Male 10–12 category, while in the Female 10–12 category, Diana finished first and Arya came third.
Most of all, we were incredibly proud of every one of our seven learners for being willing to take on this final challenge. Battling through a tough sea swim and then heading straight out onto the run was no small achievement, and they supported one another brilliantly throughout the morning.
It was such a lovely way to finish this year’s Youth Aquathlon League series and wonderful to see Team Nexus out there giving it their all! Congratulations to everyone who took part!
